Among the world class luxury train and one of the costliest train in India, it was started in August 2010 and was a joint venture of IRCTC, but after the verdict of High Court and Supreme Court, it belongs exclusively to IRCTC. The facilities like large dining bar, LCD TV, direct dial phones, internet connectivity, suite bathroom and individual temperature controls. The voyage of train is from Mumbai to Delhi and covers the central portion of Rajasthan with 8 days and 7 nights journey. It is almost around half a mile in length. The Golden Chariot

Named as Asia’s leading luxury train by tourists in 2013 The Golden Chariot was started its jouney from the year 2008 and covers the southern part of India and places of the states Goa and Karnataka. Started by KSTDC, it has facilities like royal interiors, mini gym, Ayurveda spa, conference room and two restaurants with internet connectivity and has 19 coaches. Pride of the journey is of 8 days and 7 nights which starts and ends on Banglore. Costs Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 50,000 per person per jouney it covers Chennai, Mamallapuram, Pondicherry, Thiruchirapalli, Thanjavur, Madurai, Thiruvananthapuram, Poovar, Kochi, Kerala blackwaters.

Royal Rajasthan On Wheels

As the name indicated it covers the majority tourists places of Rajasthan like Jodhpur, Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur, Varanasi, Agra and starts and end in Delhi. Running by RTDC it is having 14 luxury cabins with a journey of 8 days and 7 nights and a facility like Wi-Fi, multi-cuisine restaurants, spa, bars costing from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 80,000 per person per journey like other trains it is operational from October to March period.

The Deccan Odyssey

Making it the worlds best luxury train, running by the joint venture of Maharastra’s MTDC and Indian Railways. The deccan Odyssey is a 5 star hotel with 10 fully AC Deluxe cabin saloons, each with a combination of 4 twin chambers and 2 fully AC presidential saloons and each with 2 suites with combination of living room and bed room.
